Say goodbye to Bloating, Acne and Cramps!

Here’s how to keep your grey cells as fresh as a super-smart daisy!

If Murphy was a woman, he would’ve come up with another law that all women would agree with whole-heartedly!

Law – The probability of getting your period is directly proportional to the importance of the event!

Looking forward to going to a weekend beach resort? Planning to wear those super-tight jeans for a hot date? Going for a vacation to Goa after months of preparation? And then you feel it, those tell-tale cramps where you know what’s coming next.

With all the parties and weddings to attend this season, it would be such a pain to not fit into your fav dress or break out into acne. The good news is that there is a way to work around the bloating, pain, cravings and mood swings. If you suffer from none of these symptoms, then you lucky gal, you’re doing something right!

Doing the right thing includes eating right. Your body craves sugary, high fat food a few days before your period (because of some serotonin jazz), which can be fulfilled with complex carbs like bread, cereal or good ol’ plain yoghurt!

Abdominal bloating can be reduced by surprise surprise – drinking water! Drinking 6-8 glasses of water everyday helps to flush the body and eliminates fluid retention.

Heard of endorphins? They are ‘feel good’ hormones that make us cheerful! Apparently our female hormones affect these cheery little things which in turn affect our moods. Well the bottom line is to get these endorphins up and about. And for that you need to get your bottom up and about. Some form of exercise will not only make you feel better but will also help fight any fatigue you may feel around this time.

If you suffer from cramps or back pain, instead of heading to the chemist, head to a masseuse. Yoga or mild stretching will also help alleviate the pain.

Premenstrual breakouts should be handled like any other breakout. By cursing your luck! On a serious note, maintain a good skin care regime like always and use a good anti-acne cream. If the problem is severe, visit your dermatologist

With these changes and the whisper ultra thin pads available in the market, there is no reason to stress and all reason to continue partying!
