How can I get a boyfriend? Most people including guys are looking for someone caring to love and feel comfortable with. My advice is to stop obsessing about having a boyfriend. Imagine the guys you meet as potential mates instead. Smile, be friendly, get to know them and try to enjoy yourself around them. Believe me, you have plenty of time to get boyfriends and I'm sure many dates will soon follow. Many people believe that true love will find you and is something you don't need to search for Is it alright to fancy a boy who already has a girlfriend? It's always frustrating when there's someone you fancy who's seeing another girl. Especially when you can't help but think that he'd be much better off going out with you. Unfortunately the fact is he's seeing someone else and - as hard as that is - you have to accept it. After all, if they're not suited to one another, sooner or later they'll break up and that's when you can start getting interested in him again. My advice to you for now would be not to get involved in his current relationship and be careful that you don't hang round too long for him and miss out on your own fun! I really fancy this boy at school, what should I do? My advice would be to ask an understanding friend to subtly find out how he feels about you. If he does then great, you could suggest meeting up sometime and see how things go. However, be ready for him not to be interested. Don't take this to heart, you can still remain friends and maybe in the future he may decide that he wants a relationship with you. I fancy the same boy as my friend, what should I do? First of all, decide whether you actually really like him, or just like the idea of having a boyfriend. Bear in mind that your friend is likely to be upset and angry if you start seeing her crush. Date him and you may lose her friendship for good - is he worth it? Should I go out with my friends ex? There is no rule to say you can't go out with your friends ex, but how would you feel if she did it to you? If your friend still likes him she may feel hurt and betrayed and this could possibly cost you your friendship. Is he worth it? If you really think so, then your best bet is to be honest with her. Tell her the last thing you want to do is hurt her or lose her as a friend. But be prepared, as however much she cares about you, it may be too painful for her to stay close and watch the two of you starting a relationship. Why does my boyfriend give me mixed messages? It's really easy to over-interpret every move someone makes when you're mad about them. You start trying to read a meaning into everything they say or every glance they give you. Perhaps the best way to put yourself out of this misery would be to ask an understanding friend to subtly find out how he truly feels about you. I hate it when my boyfriend speaks to other girls! It' important to remember that even though you're going out with this guy, you don't own him and he is entitled to talk to anyone he wants. Having said that, when you're crazy about someone it is easy to feel insecure about the situation and easy to overact. Remind yourself that he's going out with you, not these other girls, and therefore you mean more to him than them. Don't blow your relationship by being too possessive, and even if you do continue to feel a little jealous, try to hide it.
