Hair styles

Can't do anything with your hair? Don't worry; we've come up with a Can't Fail Celebrity hair guide, to help you look like you've just stepped out of a salon!

"I want to look like Jessica Simpson. I really like her blonde waves."
Blow-dry your hair until it's dry and grab small sections of your hair to put in hot curlers. Leave them in for 10 -15 minutes. Once you've removed the curlers, add a little moulding wax so the curls stay together. Loosely pin it up with some bobby pins, add a bit of hairspray and there you have it!What you'll need: Hair grips, moulding wax, hot curlers, hair spray.

"I've just seen Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls. She wasn't so nice, but I love her hair! How do I get it so straight?"

After washing your hair, add a little anti-frizz serum or straightening balm. Blow-dry your hair in small sections until dry all over. Depending on your hair type, you may need to go over each section with a hot straightening iron. This will make your hair smoother and will get rid of that extra frizz! What you'll need: Anti-frizz serum/straightening balm, blow drier (with the concentrator nozzle attached), round brush, straightening irons.

"I think that the Olsen twins have great styles. How can I make my curls look styled, instead of frazzled?"

All you need to do is add some curling mousse or hair wax and let your hair dry naturally. To get a fuller curl, simply attach the diffuser nozzle to your hairdryer (it's that big round thing that no one knows what to do with!) Once your hair is dry, you're ready to go!

What you'll need: Blow drier, with diffuser nozzle and hair wax/curling mousse.

"Paris Hilton always looks well-groomed. How does she get her hair so smooth?"

After washing your hair, simply add some anti-frizz serum or straightening balm and blow-dry your hair straight (using a round brush). Once it's all done, use a butterfly clip, or kirby grips to pin your hair back. You can either pin it back on one side, or both... whatever you feel like!

What you'll need: Anti-frizz serum/straightening balm, blow drier (with the concentrator nozzle attached, hair clips, round brush.

"I really liked Gwyneth Paltrow's hair when it was short in Sliding Doors. How else can I wear this style?"

This is probably the easiest style of all, but only girls with short hair can achieve this short and sporty look. Add some gel to wet hair, part it on the side (try a funky jagged parting for something different).

What you'll need: Hair gel.
